This is a map of a tidal Island in Connemara off the coast of Galway in the west of Ireland. Sean Corcoran drew this map indicating spots of interest to him such as a "habitable house" and places to go swimming and snorkeling. He labeled parts of the island as the "heart" and the "soul." I thought this map was very artistic also practical. This is a mental map because it is a representation of how Sean viewed the area and mapped the locations that were memorable to him.
